Saudi Arabia New Visa: Saudi Arabia introduced new package visa, now travel will be easy for Indian tourists

Saudi Arabia has introduced a new ‘package visa’ to make travel easier for foreign tourists. Through this new digital service, tourists will now be able to arrange visa, air ticket and hotel stay in a single online booking. This step has been taken to promote the tourism sector under Saudi Vision 2030.

Citizens of these countries will get benefits

The Saudi Tourism Ministry has started this pilot program for citizens of seven countries, which include India, Jordan, Egypt, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Mexico and Pakistan. The ministry plans to open it to more countries in the coming time.

To avail this package, passengers must have a confirmed return flight ticket. Also, they will have to stay in at least a four-star hotel recognized by the Ministry of Tourism. This hotel stay is mandatory during the entire journey.

This single-entry visa will be processed completely electronically. The visa fee also includes compulsory health insurance.

trip to mecca and medina

This package is mainly for tourism, hence it does not include any Umrah related services or accommodation arrangements in Mecca and Medina. However, after getting a visa, tourists can travel to any part of Saudi Arabia, including the two holy cities.

Saudi Arabia had welcomed about 29 million foreign tourists by 2025, and this new package visa is expected to increase this number further.
