New Delhi:In the case of firing that took place on the night of September 2 in JJ Colony of Madanpur Khadar in South Eastern district, the police acted swiftly and arrested four accused and solved the case. During investigation, wires of two other accused of firing were found linked to a case of Rajpark police station of Outer District, who were arrested by the Outer District Special Staff.
Bullets were fired due to old rivalry
South Eastern District DCP Vineet Kumar said that on September 2, at around 11:45 pm, 2-3 bullets were fired at Dholwala's office at Bablu Dairy. In the firing, a 23-year-old youth named Rohit was injured in the middle finger of his left hand. Initial investigation revealed old rivalry.
Police caught the accused through technical clues
South-East District Special Staff including Inspector Raman Kumar Singh, Inspector Rajendra Dagar, Inspector Kishore, Inspector Shubham Chaudhary and two joint teams of Police Station Kalindi Kunj arrested Bhupendra alias Guddu alias Dholwala, combining the statements of eyewitnesses, technical surveillance and digital clues. After this the special staff also caught Deepak alias Bhagat, Avinash alias Rahul and Raj.
Fire of revenge flares up in the dispute of ganja, gambling and extortion
Investigation revealed that Monu and Abhishek alias Bachkanda had allegedly opened fire at the spot. Both of them were arrested by the Outer District Special Staff in the stabbing case registered at Rajpark police station. During interrogation, important information related to the firing case was found. According to the police, a dispute over ganja business, gambling and alleged extortion had fueled the fire of revenge. Now the police is conducting raids in search of the absconding accused including the main conspirator Deepak alias Parcha.
