Mirzapur. The body of a youth was found in a field in Lalganj police station area on Tuesday morning. The deceased had injury marks on his head and bleeding from his ears. The relatives have refused to hand over the body to the police, alleging murder. Police and forensic team are investigating on the spot. The body has been identified as Kamlesh alias Chhote Kori, 37-year-old son of late Ram Govind Kori, resident of Vaisan Basti of Dubar Kala village.
Kamlesh used to drive in Mumbai and had come home six days ago to attend the Mundan ceremony of his son. The tonsure was to take place on Friday. On Monday evening, Kamlesh had gone to invite his Pattidar Ram Sajeevan for Mundan. He did not return home at night. His dead body was found in the village on Tuesday morning.
The pass was found in the field. Additional Superintendent of Police Rajkumar Meena, CO Amar Bahadur, Inspector Ved Prakash Pandey and outpost in-charge Kunwar Manoj Singh are present with the police force at the spot. Forensic team and dog squad are also involved in the investigation. SDM Ajit Kumar, CO Amar Bahadur and SHO Vedprakash Pandey kept trying to convince the relatives.
The relatives are adamant on the demand for immediate arrest of the accused. Kamlesh was the youngest among three brothers. About a year ago, the body of his 5 year old son Shivam was also found.
He was found under suspicious circumstances in the village, but post-mortem was not conducted then. This incident happened near Vaisan Basti of Dubar Kala, where IAS Pushparaj Singh and an army officer also have a house. The people of the village are feeling unsafe, due to this incident there is an atmosphere of tension in the village.
In this regard, Inspector in-charge Ved Prakash Pandey said that the dead body of the youth has been found which is being investigated. The clear cause of death will be known only after post-mortem. CO Amar Bahadur said that a relative has been accused of murder of the youth, which is being investigated and it will be clearly known only after the PM report. A case will be registered after receiving the complaint from the relatives.
