Shai Hope scored a sensational hundred to lead the West Indies to a 6-wicket win over India in the second T20I of the five-match series. Chasing 250, the visitors reached the target in 18.3 overs. Hope amassed an unbeaten 102 runs off 45 balls, laced with 6 fours and 9 sixes.
Apart from him, Sherfane Rutherford also played a magnificent knock, amassing 84 runs off just 37 deliveries, including 7 fours and 7 sixes.
For India, Mayank Yadav took three wickets.
Earlier, the Men in Blue were terrific with the bat, with Sanju Samson leading the charge. The wicket-keeper batter posted 41-ball 82, hitting 9 fours and 4 sixes.
Tilak Varma (44* off 18), Ishan Kishan (43 off 22) and Shreyas Iyer (40 off 18) took the score to 249/5 in 20 overs.
The series is levelled 1-1, with three matches to go in the ongoing bilateral assignment.
