India Share Market Update: Investors have taken a cautious stance due to the ongoing talks on the US-Iran peace deal. Considering this scenario, the major indices of the Indian stock market, Sensex and Nifty 50, are likely to remain volatile today, Friday, May 29. Trends in Gift Nifty are also signaling the beginning of a gap-down for the Indian benchmark index. Gift Nifty was trading at around 23,887, at a discount of nearly 109 points from the previous close of Nifty futures.

Stock markets were closed on Thursday due to Bakri Eid and BSE and NSE were closed. On Wednesday, the Indian stock market fell for the second straight session, but the benchmark Nifty 50 held above the 23,900 level. The Sensex closed down 141.90 points, or 0.19 percent, at 75,867.80, while the Nifty 50 was down 6.55 points, or 0.03 percent, at 23,907.15.
