Sharecropper took possession of agricultural land

Lucknow. The practice of rural farmers sharing their agricultural land in the village and taking 1/2 share of the crop produced continues unabated in the villages. But if by mistake you have given your fertile land on share to such a powerful person, then his bad intentions come to the fore when he takes possession of the said share land as his property and stops the land owner from coming to his own land and harvesting crops.

According to the information received from the sources, Atar Singh, resident of Baldev Bihar, Telibagh, had purchased the land of 0.7590 hectare area in the year 2011 by registering the deed of account no. 00002, gata no. 141/3, from Vijaya Singh, resident of Sadulla Nagar, Banthara, late Yashwant Singh. Since the victim lived far away, after talking to Sirajuddin of the village, it was decided to take 1/2 share of the crop produced in the fields.

Sirajuddin suddenly stopped giving crops for the past years and started taking the entire crop himself. The victim asked about not sowing the crop in advance, but the said person, showing his dominance, did not distribute the Rabi crop grown in the fields and drove him away from the fields.

After the harvest, when the victim went to get his land plowed, Sirajuddin gathered his family members, abused them and threatened that if he came again to get the fields plowed or to take possession of them, he would have to lose his life.

The victim is very scared due to their dominance and terror, she filed a complaint regarding the incident at Banthra police station, but being upset with the police not taking any action, she has given a complaint to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Krishna Nagar, Lucknow, requesting for protection from legal proceedings against the accused for the safe plowing of the land.
