Shri Krishna Janmashtami 2026: CM wrote to Pati, Yogi, said – bring into life the message of Shri Krishna's truth, religion, karma and welfare of people.

Lucknow. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has written a letter and extended hearty wishes to the people of the state on Shri Krishna Janmashtami. He also called for taking a pledge to build a developed and glorious Uttar Pradesh by bringing into life the message of truth, religion, action and welfare of the people of Lord Shri Krishna. The Chief Minister said that the entire life of Yogeshwar Shri Krishna inspires the basic spirit of public welfare governance. In accordance with this spirit, the government is working to give respect and security to the person standing at the last rung of the society and to create a poverty-free Uttar Pradesh, to provide work to the talented and skilled youth, support to the food providers and opportunity to the daughters to move forward like sons.

Harmony, equality and intimacy are the need of today's society.

CM Yogi said that Shri Krishna is not a symbol of nobility but of harmony. He stood with every section of the society. Despite being the ruler of Dwarka, he remained a close friend of Sudama. His friendship with Sudama gives the message that true relationships are not based on position, prestige and prosperity, but on intimacy. Harmony, equality and intimacy are also the need of today's society.

The Chief Minister said that amidst the darkness of untruth and injustice, the light of truth and religion emerged in the form of Lord Shri Krishna. His childhood pastimes are not merely joyous tales, but contain deep spiritual messages. While the act of stealing butter gives the message of spontaneity and innocence, his intimacy with Gop-Gopis gives the lesson of love and social harmony. The act of suppressing Kaliya Naag gives the message of victory of religion over unrighteousness.

The strength of society lies in collective cooperation

CM Yogi said that the life of Shri Krishna shows that the real strength of the society lies in collective cooperation. Wearing Govardhan Parvat, he gave the message of protection of nature, livestock and agriculture based life. Through Govardhan Puja, he also told that collective unity gives strength to face even the biggest challenges.

Message of Karma and Duty for every age

The Chief Minister said that Lord Shri Krishna showed humanity the path of action, knowledge and duty. His message is not limited to any one period or era, but shows the right direction to society and individuals at all times.
