Ramanand Sagar Grand Project: You must have seen Arun Govil’s old Ramayana series. This serial was directed by the famous producer-director Ramanand Sagar of the 1980s. Now once again Sagar Pictures Entertainment has announced to make ‘Shrimad Bhagavatam’ on the big screen. This will be a big series of 7 films and it will start with ‘Shrimad Bhagavatam Part-1’. Let us tell you that this series will be directed by Ramanand Sagar’s grandsons Amrit Sagar Chopra and Akash Sagar Chopra. Apart from this, this big project is being prepared by Sagar Pictures Global.
Shooting of ‘Shrimad Bhagavatam’ started in Ramoji Film City
Let us tell you that the shooting of the film was started in Hyderabad, after which the shooting of the film ‘Shrimad Bhagavatam’ has started in Ramoji Film City. The film’s cinematography is being done by Joel Schaefer, while Oscar-winning visual effects expert Clyde Edwards is its executive producer.

Makers told that this film will be based on Bhagwat Mahapuran written by Maharishi Vedvyas. In this film, the life of Lord Shri Krishna, his teachings and many incarnations of Lord Vishnu will be shown on the big screen. The main objective of making the film is that today’s people can see and know about mythological and religious stories.
The makers further said that this film will be released worldwide. Akash Sagar, CEO of Sagar Pictures Entertainment, said that this series will show the childhood life of Lord Shri Krishna. In this Raasleela, Gopi Geet, Samudra Manthan, Matsya, Varaha and Narasimha incarnations will be seen.
