Sindhu could not overcome world number one Korean Ann Se Young again

Sindhu’s losing streak against Young reaches 0-9

The world number four Indian pair will now face top seeds Kim Won Ho and Seo Seung Jae of Korea, who defeated seventh seeds Japanese pair of Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi 21-19, 21-18.

Third seed Malaysian pair against Kapila and Tanisha withdrew due to injury
In the mixed doubles, the pair of Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto reached the semi-finals after the third seeded Malaysian pair of Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei withdrew from the match during the opening game itself. Now this Indian pair will face the Japanese pair of Yuichi Shimogami and Sayaka Hobara for a place in the finals.
