Agra. The impact of the student movement at Jantar Mantar in Delhi was seen across the country. During this movement, many types of rumors were also prevalent on social media. Amidst all this, on Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a big appeal to the teachers. He said that foreign forces, irritated by India’s progress, are conspiring to spread hatred and chaos in the society by spreading rumors in the society by misusing state-of-the-art technology and foreign funds.

The Chief Minister further said that the youth accept the unverified content being served on social media as truth, due to which the society is becoming victim of anarchy. Appealing to the teachers, the Chief Minister said that they should tell the students about this and tell them the difference between truth and lie. He said, not all the content available on Google is authentic, hence it is the responsibility of the teachers to direct the youth back to libraries and reference books.

Also said, today social media and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are the need of the hour, we cannot turn away from them. But work on how to make it beneficial for yourself. Post good content, tell people about fake accounts. Appealing to the teachers, he said that there are fake accounts, tell the students about them and keep them away from misleading facts.
He asked universities to implement dual degrees and new courses under the National Education Policy (NEP). The government, in collaboration with Tata Technologies, has started the facility of training in AI, drone technology, 3D printing and robotics in ITI and polytechnic institutes of the state, the benefit of which should also be availed by higher educational institutions. Teachers should make their classes interesting so that students do not leave classes due to boredom.
