According to ‘The Kathmandu Post’ report, Sonu Sood along with his ‘Sood Charity Foundation’ team reached Kathmandu and distributed huge quantities of blankets and food items to the flood victims. Speaking to the media, the actor said, “We have come to meet all the people affected by the floods. We want to stand strong with the needy people and will do our best to get their lives back on track.” He further said that his team has reached the spot and is closely assessing the ground needs of the affected communities. Blankets and other essential food items are being sent continuously from India, and this aid campaign will continue in the coming months.

He has been continuously active in humanitarian work since thousands of migrant workers stranded across the country were safely transported to their homes during the Covid-19 lockdown.
