The company has specially designed them keeping monitoring and professional use in mind. Features like 5mm dynamic driver, high-resolution audio support and passive noise isolation have been provided in these.

The price of Sony IER-M500 in India has been kept at Rs 10,990. These in-ear monitors are available in black, clear, red and blue color options. These can be purchased from Amazon, Flipkart, Real Image, Sound Glitz, Headphone Zone and other online and offline retailers. The company had earlier launched this model in America in July.
5mm dynamic driver
Sony IER-M500 has a 5mm dynamic driver. It supports high-resolution audio. Its frequency response range is from 10Hz to 40,000Hz. According to Sony, it has a sealed acoustic design and a large internal acoustic chamber. This helps control bass and keep high-frequency sounds clean.

Passive noise isolation is provided in Sony IER-M500. Its completely sealed structure helps in reducing noise coming from outside. This feature can be especially useful during stage performances and audio monitoring. Along with this, noise-isolating ear tips of four different sizes are provided. 1.6 meter detachable cable
For connectivity, it has about 1.6 meter long Y-Type detachable cable. It has an L-shaped stereo mini plug. Since it has a detachable cable, it can be changed if needed. The company has designed the cable keeping in mind professional use involving frequent connecting and disconnecting.
