International tourism spending improved in the third quarter of 2026, with average expenditure per foreign visitor rising 7% from the previous quarter and 6% from a year earlier to US$1,374 per trip, Antara News Agency reported.
The increase was partly driven by longer stays, with the average visit extending to 11.01 nights, compared with 10.3 nights in the second quarter and 10.7 nights in the same period last year.
Indonesia eyes 16-17 million international tourist arrivals this year.
