SP workers took to the streets carrying bowls on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday.

Kanpur. On Thursday, on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Samajwadi Party's Mulayam Singh Youth Brigade held a symbolic demonstration in Kanpur on the issue of unemployment. In the demonstration organized at Faithfulganj intersection, workers took to the road with bowls in their hands and raised slogans of 'give employment, not begging'. Through the demonstration, the government's attention was drawn to problems like youth unemployment, delay in recruitment examinations and paper leaks.

The demonstration was led by SP Kanpur Metropolitan President Haji Fazal Mahmood. He said that a large number of youth are searching for employment even after studying and preparing for competitive examinations. Delays in the recruitment process and irregularities related to examinations are affecting the future of the youth. The demonstration carrying the bowl is a symbolic protest against this problem.

Shadab Alam, city president of Mulayam Singh Youth Brigade, said that the youth have degrees in their hands, but there are not enough employment opportunities. Describing employment, quality education and transparent recruitment process as the main needs of the youth, he said that these issues will be raised further.

During the protest, activists raised issues related to unemployment, paper leaks, delay in recruitment examinations, expensive education and limited employment opportunities. After the demonstration, a memorandum related to the problems of the youth was submitted to the administration. During this, Metropolitan President Haji Fazal Mahmood, General Secretary Sanjay Singh Bunty Sengar, Senior Vice President Shailendra Yadav Mintu, Shadab Alam, Mumtaz Mansoori, Mohd. Many workers including Akil, Ajay Srivastava, Mahendra Singh, Dheeraj Yadav, Neeraj Gupta, Nihal Yadav, Alok Yadav, Wasim Raza, Brijlal and Jasvendra were present.
