Star Wars: Adria Arjona Addresses Potential Bix’s Spin-off After Andor’s Emotional Finale

Adria Arjona has made her feelings clear on a potential Bix spin-off following Andor’s emotional ending. The Disney+ Star Wars TV series ran for two seasons and wrapped up last year.

In an interaction with The Hollywood ReporterAdria Arjona addressed the possibility of her character Bix Caleen’s return. While she didn’t rule out any chances for a spin-off project, the Onslaught actress is willing to do it only on one condition.

“Listen, I am the most loyal Gilroy there is. If Tony Gilroy is in, I’m right there with him,” said Arjona while mentioning Andor creator Tony Gilroy who was involved in the TV show’s two seasons. “I respect so much what he’s created, and I love him so dearly that I don’t want to put my fingerprints on it.”

What Andor’s ending left open for Adria Arjona’s Bix Caleen

Andor’s ending saw Adria Arjona’s Bix Caleen on Mina-Rau with the droid B2EMO. The emotional sequence showed her holding a child that she had with protagonist Cassian Andor, played by Diego Luna.

While there are various ways to explore Bix’s adventures after the series, Arjona is happy with the way Gilroy eventually handled the overall storyline. “It might be too soon. I don’t want to say never, but I love the way he ended that show. I respect it, so I want to keep it like that for now.”

As for Arjona’s latest project, she’s currently busy promoting her sci-fi horror movie Onslaught. The actress plays Celeste, a former military sniper living in a desert trailer park with her daughter.

Directed by Adam Wingard, Onslaught also features Drew Starkey, Dan Stevens, Eric Wareheim, Reginald VelJohnson, Michael Biehn, Alex Pereira, Maurice Greene, Blake Kennedy, Jacob Scipio, and Rebecca Hall.

Arjona will also make her DCU debut next year with James Gunn’s Man of Tomorrow. However, her character details in the movie are still kept under wraps.
