At the same time, Nifty is also trading around 24,300 after falling by about 80 points. Shares of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles fell nearly 5% amid weakness in the market.

Shares of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles fell sharply after the quarterly results. The share fell by about 5% to Rs 332.75. The company's profit has declined by more than 80% to Rs 775 crore in the April-June quarter. Selling pressure was seen in the stock due to weak quarterly results.

Great Listing of Technocraft Ventures IPO

Technocraft Ventures, a company in the engineering and construction (EPC) sector, made a great debut in the stock market on Friday. The company's shares were listed at Rs 284 on NSE and Rs 285 on BSE against the IPO issue price of Rs 212.

The IPO received a strong response from investors and was subscribed 38.68 times. The amount raised from this IPO of Rs 251.88 crore will be used for working capital and corporate requirements.

LEAP India IPO also listed on Premium

Shares of pallet and container leasing company LEAP India also entered the market on Friday. As against the IPO issue price of Rs 159, the share was listed on NSE at Rs 165.90, i.e. a gain of 4.34%.

The share opened at Rs 166 on BSE. The company's Rs 2,480 crore IPO was subscribed 8.37 times. The funds raised from IPO will be used to repay debt and working capital needs.

Mixed business in Asian Market

Mixed trading was seen in Asian markets on Friday. South Korea's Kospi rose 1.37% to 6,892. Japan's Nikkei rose 0.85% to 68,889. Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 0.93% down at 25,166.

US market remained bullish

On August 13, there was a rise in the American markets. Dow Jones rose 70 points to 53,840, Nasdaq rose 215 points to 26,803 and S&P 500 rose 50 points to 7,799. That means there was an increase in all three major American indexes.

FII bought shares worth Rs 720 crore in 7 days

Foreign Institutional Investors i.e. FII/FPI have purchased Rs 720 crore in the Indian stock market in the last 7 days. Whereas in the last trading data, FII/FPI sold Rs 511 crore. Domestic Institutional Investors i.e. DII purchased Rs 8,929 crore in the last 7 days and Rs 34,726 crore in the last 30 days.

Yesterday Sensex rose, Nifty fell

On August 13, Sensex rose 114 points to close at 78,080. At the same time, Nifty fell by about 40 points and closed at the level of 24,396. Today, at the beginning of the market, a decline is being seen in both the major indexes.
