New Delhi. Patiala House Court has granted three weeks' interim bail to Swatantra Bhardwaj, the accused arrested in the case of assault during the Cockroach Janata Party protest at Jantar Mantar. The accused is accused of allegedly attacking Nishu Azad's father, after which the accused was arrested.

Let us tell you that a protest by Cockroach Janata Party was going on at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. During this time the situation there went out of control and there was an uproar. It is alleged that during this period, Nishu Azad's father was assaulted, due to which he was injured. In this case, the police took immediate action and arrested Swatantra Bhardwaj, making him an accused.
During the hearing of the case, Patiala House Court took cognizance of the arguments of the defense side. After hearing both the sides, the court has granted interim bail of three weeks to accused Swatantra Bhardwaj, giving immediate relief. At the same time, the police is investigating this matter. After the expiry of the interim bail period, the court will decide further legal proceedings and directions in this case.
