Pune/Table Tennis: In the 4th Maharashtra State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament organized by the Wardha District Amateur Table Tennis Association, Mayuresh Sawant of Thane won the title in the under-17 category of boys, while Swara Karmarkar of Nashik won the title in the under-17 category of girls. Both the players overcame their opponents in the final match to clinch the top spot in the tournament.Pune) In the final of the boys' group, Mayuresh Sawant defeated Thane's own Prateek Tulsani 11-5, 11-7, 11-7 in three straight games.

Meanwhile, in the under-17 girls category, Nashik's Swara Karmarkar won the title by defeating Thane's Trisha Ludbe 11-4, 11-5, 9-11, 6-11, 11-0 in the final match.
