On weekends, everyone, from children to adults, craves something tasty. Eating the same breakfast all week can make people bored. In such a situation, it’s often hard to figure out what to make that’s both delicious and healthy. If you’re looking for the best breakfast option, a vegetable sandwich might be the perfect choice. It’s easy to make and tastes amazing. Here’s a recipe for a tasty and nutritious vegetable sandwich. Take note. Ingredients
Bread: 4 slices (brown, multigrain, or white bread)
Vegetables (finely chopped or sliced):
1 cucumber
1 tomato
1 bell pepper (finely chopped)
1 boiled potato (sliced)
1/2 cup grated cheese
1/4 cup boiled corn
Spices
1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
Salt to taste
2 teaspoons green chutney (cilantro-mint)
1-2 tablespoons butter or olive oil (for frying)
Method of Preparation
Step 1:
First, take two slices of bread. Apply spicy coriander-mint green chutney to one slice. If you’re making this for kids, you can apply a little butter or tomato ketchup to the other slice. Use multigrain or whole-wheat bread. This provides plenty of fiber. Cheese and corn provide protein and essential minerals, keeping you energized throughout the day.
Step 2:
Now place slices of cucumber, tomato, and boiled potato on the bread slices. Spread some chopped bell peppers, corn, and grated cheese on top.
Step 3:
Sprinkle a little salt, black pepper, and chaat masala over the vegetables. This will give the sandwich a nice spicy flavor.
Step 4:
After filling with the stuffing, place the second piece of bread on top and press it down lightly.
Step 5:
Now heat a pan or sandwich maker. Apply a little butter or olive oil to the top of the bread. Place the sandwich on the pan and cook on medium heat until golden brown and crispy on both sides. Then enjoy.
