Tata Aeris Launch: Tata Motors launches the all-new Aeris. This is a compact sedan which has been specially introduced for personal car buyers. The starting price of its petrol variant is ₹ 5.29 lakh and the starting price of iCNG version is ₹ 6.29 lakh. Booking of Aeris has now started and its delivery will also start soon. This sedan will be available at Tata Cars dealerships in India.

Aeris has been specially designed for private customers. In this, the focus has been on design, comfort, technology, features and personal expression. Along with this, the practicality of the sedan for daily use and long distance driving has also been maintained. The company said that this model is different from the traditional way of using the same product for both fleet and personal customers.
Both petrol and CNG options available
According to the news published in Economic Times, Eris has a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine. The petrol engine gives power of 86 hp and torque of 113 Nm. It is offered with 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox. In the CNG version, the power is around 76 hp and the torque is 97 Nm. Both manual and AMT options are available in this also. Aeris price in Delhi ranges from ₹5.29 lakh to ₹8.74 lakh for petrol variants and ₹6.29 lakh to ₹9.74 lakh for CNG variants.

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles expects demand from personal car buyers to increase in tier-2 and tier-3 cities. According to the company, the demand for compact sedans with affordability and better features is strong in these markets.
Know how the design is
Talking about design, Eris has the same front light setup as Tiago. Although there is less black cladding on the bumper. Apart from this, black-out ORVMs, turn indicators on ORVMs, 15-inch tyres, dual-tone alloy wheels, ventilated front seats and such a tail section are available. The tail-light graphics have been slightly modified and additional elements have been added.

Tata has left no stone unturned in the matter of safety. 6 airbags are standard across all variants. ABA along with EBD, electronic stability control, traction control, rear parking sensors, Isofix child seat mounts and hill hold assist are provided.
