Team India Squad Announced For West Indies Series: A series of 3 ODI and 5 T20I matches will be played between India and West Indies. BCCI has announced Team India for this ODI and T20 series to be played against West Indies. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have returned to the ODI team, but surprisingly Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya have not got a place in both the squads. Whereas Ruturaj Gaikwad and Naman Dheer have got a chance in the ODI team. Apart from this, Ravindra Jadeja is also returning to the ODI team. Talking about the T20 squad, there has not been much change. Shreyas Iyer will take over the captaincy of T20, so he has not been included in the ODI team.

Rohit-Virat return, Gaikwad, Jaiswal and Naman Dheer get a chance

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have returned to Team India's squad for the ODI series against West Indies. Shubman Gill will be the captain and KL Rahul will be the vice-captain along with the responsibility of wicketkeeper. At the same time, batsmen like Ruturaj Gaikwad, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Naman Dheer, who were out of Team India for a long time, have also been included in the ODI squad.

Nitish Kumar Reddy and Ravindra Jadeja will play all-round roles.

Dhruv Jurel has got a chance as a wicketkeeper in the ODI squad. Nitish Kumar Reddy and Ravindra Jadeja will play the role of all-rounders. Whereas apart from Jadeja, the main spinner will be Kuldeep Yadav. The fast bowling department will be handled by Gurnoor Brar along with Prasidh Krishna, Mohammad Siraj and Aaqib Nabi.

Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya did not get place in both the squads

Team India's star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has not been completely match-fit yet. The selectors do not want to take any risk regarding his workload, due to which youth have been given a chance in his place. Wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant has not got a place in Team India's squad for the ODI series against West Indies. The selectors have decided to send Pant to domestic cricket. He has been appointed captain of the 'Rest of India' team for the Irani Cup, so that he can regain his rhythm and form by batting long and continuously there.

Jasprit Bumrah given rest

Talking about Team India for the 5-match T20I series against West Indies, the selectors have mainly retained the squad from Japan T20I and Asian Games. Before this series, Team India will play the Asian Games, for which Jasprit Bumrah has been included in the team. But Bumrah has been rested for the West Indies series and in his place Prince Yadav and Mayank Yadav are returning to the team.
