The story of the film shows the terror of the forest, the mystery of folklore, signs of rebirth and the fabric of two lives.

At the same time, the song 'Chhathi Maiya' from 'The Vvaan' is also popular. In the song, Tamannaah Bhatia is shown performing Chhath Puja, where she is seen immersed in the devotion of Chhathi Maiya at the ghat. An attempt has been made in the song to show the faith and tradition of Chhath festival. 'Chhathi Maiya' has been sung, composed and arranged by Vishal Mishra, while its lyrics have been written by Kaushal Kishore. The One has been directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra. It has been jointly produced by TVF (The Viral Fever) and Ekta Kapoor (Balaji Motion Pictures). Apart from Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, the film also stars Shweta Tiwari, Manish Pol, Sunil Grover and Anum Soni. This film will be released in theaters on 25th September.
