Huang also gave the example of his company NVIDIA. He said that the company currently has about 40,000 employees. In future, up to 4 lakh or 40 lakh AI agents can work with these employees.
According to him, this will enable companies to work faster and better. AI agents can handle many of the tasks of employees and increase the productivity of companies.
Sam Altman's opinion differs
Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, doesn't entirely agree with Huang's opinion. Altman has said that OpenAI could achieve AGI internally by the end of this year.
According to OpenAI, AGI will be autonomous AI systems that can outperform humans in most economically important tasks.
The real benefit of AI is important
Huang says companies and investors should focus on the real benefits of AI instead of just chasing the term AGI. According to him, three things are most important right now: AI is doing useful and productive work. Companies are benefiting financially from AI.
More benefits can be earned from AI by getting more computing power. That is, according to Huang, the future of AI lies not only in achieving AGI, but in creating AI agents that can perform real-world tasks and increase companies' earnings and productivity.
