A car overturned and a terrible accident occurred in Oman. An Indian citizen died. 9 more Indian nationals were injured. It is reported that the vehicle lost control on Sultan Saeed Bin Taimur Road on Saturday. Then it reverses. The critically injured were rushed to a local hospital.
“One person was killed and 9 injured in the incident on Saeed Bin Taimur Road. All are Indian nationals. The injured have been shifted to Nizwa Hospital by ambulance for treatment,” Oman Police said on the X-Handle about the accident. However, the details of the accident are not yet known. Local news outlet Khaleej Times reported that earlier, the Meteorological Department had predicted heavy rains and dust storms along with lightning. It is initially believed that the vehicle lost control due to lack of visibility. Then it reverses.
The identities of those killed and injured in the accident have not yet been released. However, the administration of Oman is on the side of the injured. It is known that they are being given proper treatment. Once the identity is known, the families will be contacted through the Indian Embassy. Later, arrangements can be made to return the body of the deceased to the country as per the wishes of the family members.
