During this, MNS Chief Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray observed a minute of silence in the memory of 21 students who allegedly committed suicide after the NEET paper leak controversy. Also paid tribute to those students by reading their names.
While addressing the rally, Thackeray brothers have made a scathing attack on the Modi government. Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray praised students for holding nationwide protests against the exam paper leak, saying the movement is the beginning of a bigger fight against the BJP and has proved that “votes can be stolen, but people cannot.”
Uddhav Thackeray said that the youth, with their unity, have written “a golden chapter” in the democratic history of India. He said that the students’ movement has become a nationwide movement. He said people ask us why we are talking about elections when they are still three years away. The answer is easy. Modi has now realized that votes can be stolen, but not people. He said that no election has been won today. The patriots have defeated the blind followers. This is the beginning of a bigger conflict. This is a fight between BJP and India.
Taking aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uddhav Thackeray said the Union minister is busy “breaking political parties” instead of running the country. He said that I want to tell Prime Minister Modi that now is the time to focus on the country. Your ministers are busy breaking political parties. Tell them to start working for the country.

Making a scathing attack on the exam paper leak, Uddhav Thackeray asked why Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was not removed from the Union Cabinet? He said that I want to ask Prime Minister Modi. How painful was it to remove your favorite Dharmendra from the cabinet? Was that pain greater than what the families of those students were enduring when their children sacrificed their lives? I can’t forget that pain and I will never forget it.
Appealing to the youth to maintain enthusiasm, Uddhav Thackeray said do not let this awareness fade away. Do not tolerate the arrogance of people in power. You have shown the power of people. Don’t let anyone weaken this country again. He said that the country’s Finance Minister does not talk about the falling rupee or rising inflation, but points out the “benefits” of the paper leak. He said that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh should protect the country’s borders, but he is defending Pradhan.
Gadkari targeted over E20 petrol
Making fun of Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Uddhav Thackeray said that the minister with “khadda” (potholes) is talking about ethanol (E20 petrol). He further said that this is definitely the next issue. At the same time, Raj Thackeray said that the success of the students’ protests proved that Gen Z can challenge the government. He thanked Mumbai Police for maintaining order during the protests and said the country had seen “the difference between Maharashtra Police and Delhi Police”.
During the Vijay Rally on Sunday, a large crowd of youth gathered in Mumbai’s Shivaji Park, mostly college students. They were waving the tricolor in their hands and carrying posters of the Constitution. They were “celebrating” the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Despite light rain since morning, youth wearing raincoats and carrying umbrellas held posters and creative social media memes of Dr BR Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution of India, who had gone viral during the nationwide protests against the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). After Pradhan’s resignation, the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) on Saturday withdrew its 36-day agitation.
