This incident happened at a time when the counting of votes had not even started and only speculation was going on. The people present on the spot immediately took him to the hospital, where his treatment is going on.

Confirming this matter, a police officer said, ‘He was immediately taken to the government hospital, where doctors are monitoring his condition.’ According to doctors, his life was saved because he got timely treatment, but his condition is still said to be not completely stable. Vijay’s party has so far registered victory on 80 seats.
