Deoria. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Deoria on Saturday, where he inaugurated/laid the foundation stone of 80 development projects worth ₹305 crore. During this he said, today there is a medical college in Deoria. A medical college has been built here in the name of Maharishi Devraha Baba, whose spiritual practice was dedicated to public welfare and national welfare.

The Chief Minister said that the double engine government is expanding basic facilities in every area of the state by taking development and public welfare together. Through a transparent and sensitive governance system, the benefits of the schemes are reaching the eligible people and the work of connecting the people standing at the last rung of the society with the mainstream of development is continuing.
He said, Deoria is setting new paradigms of development today. Connectivity is improving here, bypasses and flyovers are being built. Single lane roads are converting into double lanes, double lane roads into 4-lanes and 4-lane roads into 6-lanes. Composite schools are being constructed. Besides, upgradation of Kasturba Gandhi schools is also taking place.
The Chief Minister said, composite schools are being built in Deoria district, Kasturba Gandhi schools are being upgraded. Abhyudaya coaching is being arranged for the youth to prepare for competitive examinations and under 'Operation Kayakalp', comprehensive changes are being made in the schools of basic education, so that the bright future of our children can be taken forward.

He said, we have given three days special free travel facility for the sisters in Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) buses from August 27 to 29. Every daughter, sister and mother has been provided the facility of free travel in the bus with one companion. More than 59 lakh people have traveled so far.
