Local people and officials described this moment as a major achievement towards the development of the area.

First flight made special for farmers

Special importance has been given to the first flight leaving from the airport for Lucknow. 172 farmers are traveling in this flight, who had provided their land for the construction of the airport. Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh is also present with these farmers.

After reaching Lucknow, this delegation will meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and express gratitude to him on behalf of the farmers who helped in making the airport project successful. The aim of this initiative is to honor the participation and contribution of farmers.

‘Dream turned into reality today’

Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh described the occasion as emotional and historical. He said that today the same farmers from whom cooperation was sought for this project, are traveling by air for the first time from the airport built on the same land. According to him, this is not just a flight, but a symbol of the development and changing picture of the region. Thanking the state and central governments, he said that making farmers a part of this historic opportunity is a commendable step.

There was enthusiasm among the passengers

Passengers traveling from the airport also expressed their happiness. A passenger said that traveling from Noida Airport is very convenient. He did not face any traffic problem in reaching here, whereas it often took a long time to reach Delhi Airport. The passengers also appreciated the modern facilities and better infrastructure of the airport.

Symbol of new flight of development

According to officials, in the initial phase, flights will be operated from Jewar Airport to many cities including Lucknow, Bengaluru. In the coming time, this airport will be connected to many major cities of the country and the world. Making this occasion special, those families were also included who had handed over their ancestral land to the government for the construction of the airport. Today planes are flying from the same fields where farming was once done. This change reflects the new picture of development and modern India.

Proud moment for the region

MLA Dhirendra Singh said that this is not the achievement of Jewar or Gautam Buddha Nagar only, but is a matter of pride for the entire country. He said that this journey of farmers shows that development is meaningful only when its benefits reach the common people directly. The commencement of operations of Noida International Airport will not only strengthen connectivity, but will also create new opportunities for employment, trade and investment.
