Hyderabad/Mumbai. South cinema's 'Natural Star' Nani's much-awaited raw, intense and period action-drama film 'The Paradise' has taken the box office by storm as soon as it was released in theatres. After the 2023 blockbuster 'Dussehra', the much-loved duo of director Srikanth Odela and Nani have once again returned to the big screen. The fear and tremendous screen presence of the dreaded and rebellious character 'Jadal' played by Nani in the film has thrilled the audience. According to trade trackers and early box office figures, the film has registered the biggest opening of Nani's entire career, breaking many old records of first day earnings. Despite being released without any traditional theatrical trailer, the film received huge enthusiasm from audiences and fans. Set in 1980s Secunderabad, the film depicts a marginalized community's violent fight for rights, dignity and citizenship. The film was given an 'A' (Adults Only) certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for its extremely violent and raw content, yet it attracted huge crowds in theatres. Earlier, 'Dussehra' (₹23.20 crore net) and 2025's 'HIT: The Third Case' (₹21 crore net) had registered the biggest openings in Nani's career. Now with ₹34.65 crore nett, 'The Paradise' has become the number-1 opener film of Nani's career. Nani's transformation as 'Jadal' and Anirudh's explosive background score are the biggest USPs of the film. Nani's unique look and intense performance. With the nose ring, big bindi on the forehead, long braided braids and muscular physique, Nani is almost unrecognizable in the character of 'Jadal'. The hatred and fire of revenge in the eyes of Jadal, who stood as the messiah of an exploited society against feudal oppression, gives goosebumps to the audience.
