The preparation of a big movement to demand the release of Imran, the sister of the former Prime Minister of Pakistan was arrested as soon as it was announced

Imran Khan lost the post of Prime Minister due to political vendetta and 'rot' in jail. Imran's family members are not exempted by Pakistan police under the thumb of Shahbaz Sharif. Now Imran's sister Alima Khan was arrested by the police from her house in Lahore. Allegedly, he was planning a massive protest program to demand Imran's release. Because of which he was arrested.

Imran Khan has been imprisoned in Pakistan since August 2023. In one case after another, the Pakistani court granted bail to him, but he was not released. Rather, the former prime minister has been implicated in new false cases. There are also allegations that he is being subjected to unspeakable torture in the jail. In this situation, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has called for nationwide protests to demand Imran's release on September 27. The Pakistani administration has stepped up to crush this protest of Imran's party.

Imran's family members are not exempted by Pakistan police under the thumb of Shahbaz Sharif. Now Imran's sister Alima Khan was arrested by the police from her house in Lahore.

According to Pakistan Police, several workers of PTI have already been arrested. Top 4 leaders have been arrested. Imran Khan's sister Alima Khan is also in this list. Meanwhile, the administration has stepped up to deal with the upcoming protests. The top officials of the police and administration held meetings to thwart the movement. Information is being collected about party preparation, movement of leaders and party personnel. Police have increased vigilance at guest houses, inns and bus terminals in the interest of security. Intelligence agencies including Special Branch and Counter Terrorism Department have also been alerted.

However, PTI is adamant in the protest even in the midst of administrative activities. Party workers from different cities of the country have been requested to come to Islamabad. Their only demand is the release of Imran Khan. Meanwhile, the arrest of Imran's sister ahead of the protest has further fueled discontent within the party. It is feared that this program of PTI may take a violent form in the coming weeks.
