Karoch Janata Party (CJP) has once again started preparing for a big demonstration in the country's capital Delhi. The party has announced to take out a massive and peaceful march in Delhi on 5 September. Earlier, CJP has again given an ultimatum to the government to pay attention to its demands. The party says that they had postponed their demonstration of July 25 only so that the government could accept all their demands, but regrettably, still three main demands have not been met.
Government cornered through social media posts
CJP has shared a detailed post on his social media platform on Wednesday (July 26) regarding this entire issue. Expressing his views on 'X' (Twitter), CJP wrote, 'We had stopped our protest a month ago on 25th July so that all our demands could be accepted, but still three demands remain incomplete. This includes withdrawal of FIRs registered against student protesters and no punitive action, giving appropriate compensation to the families of affected students, and a public apology by Delhi Police and RAF.
CJP further wrote in his post, 'The Black Monday record contains a complete record of every action, from the use of police batons, tear gas shells and pellet guns to the attacks on protesters by unidentified people without badges. It also includes 11 serious questions at the center of our demand for accountability of the police and administration, which have not been answered till date. With each passing day, it is becoming difficult for the government to ignore these questions and this voice demanding answers is becoming even stronger.
What is CJP going to do on 5th September?
CJP has given a nationwide call for a massive peaceful protest march in New Delhi on 5 September. The party has directly accused the Indian government of not fulfilling its promises made to the youth of the country on July 25. This peaceful march to be organized on 5th September will start from the historic India Gate and proceed towards the Police Headquarters in New Delhi.
The most special thing about this march will be that it will be led by the aggrieved families of the students who lost their lives in tragic cases related to the NEET exam and the victims of police brutality themselves. CJP hopes that a large number of students, youth organizations and conscious citizens from different states across the country will join this nationwide march and raise their voice.
