Rajya Sabha MP Maya Ivnate, Shyamkumar Barve, MLAs Abhijit Vanjari, Sudhakar Adbale, Parinay Phuke, Kripal Tumane, Sanjay Bhende, Rajiv Poddar, Dr. Nitin Raut, Krishna Khopade, Praveen Datke, Vikas Thackeray, Mohan Mate, Divisional Commissioner Vijayalakshmi Bidri, Police Commissioner Vishwas Nangre Patil, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr. Vipin, District Magistrate Kumar Ashirwad, District Council Chief Executive Officer Vinayak Mahamuni, Additional Commissioner Ankit, Muruganantham M., Chief Secretary of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat Asha Pathan, Deputy Mayor Leela Hathibed, Standing Committee Chairperson Shivani Dani, ruling party leader Narendra (Balya) Borkar, and others will be present at the event.
On the first day of the three-day camp, 765 disabled people registered, while 661 beneficiaries received artificial limbs, calipers, wheelchairs, walkers, and other supplies. On August 8th, 575 disabled people registered, and 757 disabled equipment and supplies were distributed. The goal is to distribute 3,120 items to over 3,000 beneficiaries during the three-day camp. The Municipal Corporation’s Social Development Department is running 14 schemes for the social and economic empowerment of the disabled. To provide disabled people with the benefits of government schemes, UDID card, Aadhaar card camps, and Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana registration camps are also being organized.
