In a tight match in women's group, Ruchita Darwatkar of Pune broke the fierce resistance of Anshita Tamhankar of Mumbai city and registered a competitive victory of 8-11, 11-9, 11-3, 6-11, 11-9.

Bhargava Chakradev of Pune was given a tough fight by Purab Singh Renu of Nagpur. However, Bhargava maintained his progress by winning 7-11, 11-9, 9-11, 11-4, 11-9 in a tight match. Pune's Ishan Khandekar defeated Thane's Kirti Vikmani 11-4, 11-4, 11-2 in three straight games to reach the next round.

In this state ranking competition, matches are being played in various groups such as boys and girls below 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19 years, as well as men and women.
