US President Donald Trump's visit from Turkey to Britain last month was no less than the events of an interesting spy movie. The President had publicly boarded his traditional Air Force One plane, but the journalists traveling with him and select White House officials were not even aware that Trump had quietly changed planes on the way. Keeping in mind the tight security arrangements and possible threats, the US President was secretly shifted to a small military aircraft, through which he completed his trip to Britain. Now President Trump himself has exposed this entire incident and the secret of changing the plane. The step was taken on the instructions of the Secret Service. Talking about this entire incident of changing the plane, US President Donald Trump told the media that this decision was completely based on the guidelines of the Secret Service (security agency). Trump said, "It all depends on the Secret Service. Whatever they want to do, I just do it. I follow the decisions of my security agencies and army. They wanted me to travel on a different flight and in a different plane." He further said that although the level of security was the same everywhere, the security forces wanted this change to be made so they did so. Trump smiled and said that he does what his security team says, because he often receives serious threats and he feels that there must be some serious threat. Iran's threats and intelligence reports of security agencies According to media reports, this extraordinary and unprecedented security arrangement was prepared after Iran's continuous serious threats to assassinate Donald Trump. At Turkish airport, Trump was taken out of Air Force One to a small military plane in a very secretive manner through a catering van. Earlier he had entered Air Force One in front of the cameras so that no one had any doubt. After reaching Britain, Trump was seen coming out of the old Air Force One plane, which started a discussion all over the world as to how this exchange was done in the middle of the journey. This is not the first case of such secret strategic exchange for the security of American Presidents. Earlier in the year 2000, the then US President Bill Clinton had also used a simple and unmarked Gulfstream aircraft instead of Air Force One for a brief stopover in Islamabad during his visit from India to Pakistan. During the trip, when reporters asked Trump whether there was any direct and credible threat to Air Force One from Iran, he bluntly replied that they face threats all the time and are at the top of the hit list. It is noteworthy that during Trump's stay in Turkey, the US Army had taken several tough measures in response to Iran-backed attacks on cargo ships in the region, after which the security agencies were on full alert mode.
