Tonk. A tanker filled with mustard oil and a truck collided on Saturday near Dakhiya village on Tonk-Deoli NH-52 in Tonk district of Rajasthan. The collision was so strong that a big hole was created in the side part of the tanker and within no time a strong stream of oil started flowing from it. The scene was as if a tap had been installed in the tanker and oil was continuously flowing out.

Seeing the oil flowing, nearby villagers started reaching the spot. Whatever vessel he found in his hand, he started filling it with oil. Within no time, a large number of people gathered at the spot and started filling the oil coming out of the tanker.

Villagers were seen filling not only the tanker but also the oil stored in the pits on the road and side in different vessels. During this time the stream of oil continued to flow and the crowd of people kept increasing. As soon as information about the incident was received, Mehndwas police station reached the spot. Despite the presence of police, the villagers continued filling oil and this continued for a long time.

People stopped filling the oil when all the oil present in the tanker up to the level of the hole flowed out. By then thousands of liters of oil had spread on the road and surrounding areas.

After the incident, there was an atmosphere of chaos at the spot and the situation became chaotic due to oil spilling on the road.
According to the tanker driver, he had filled mustard oil from Kota and left for Kota. Near Dakhiya village, a truck coming from behind hit the tanker from the side, due to which a big hole was created in the tanker.

The driver told that in this accident about 8 to 10 tonnes of mustard oil got washed away and became useless, which the people present on the spot took away with themselves. This incident happened near Dakhiya turn on Tonk-Deoli NH-52, where there was an atmosphere of crowd and chaos for a long time after the accident.
