There will be water in UP! Heavy rain alert in these 22 districts

Lucknow. Monsoon is once again active in Uttar Pradesh and now western UP may see heavy rains. A warning of heavy rain has been issued in many districts of the western part on Saturday. After this, the effect of rain is expected to reach eastern Uttar Pradesh between 6th to 8th September.

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy to heavy rain in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah, Agra, Firozabad, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Sambhal and Badaun on Saturday.

There is a possibility of increase in rain activities in the areas adjacent to Delhi also. In such a situation, people need to be careful during bad weather.

Effect of rain will increase in Purvanchal also

According to weather experts, initially there will be more rain in western UP due to the low pressure area. With the advancement of the weather system, there may be heavy rain at many places in eastern Uttar Pradesh between September 6 and 8. However, after this, there is a possibility of reduction in rain activities as the low pressure area weakens.

Heavy rain occurred in many districts

Good rainfall was recorded in many areas of the state on Friday also. There was 75 mm rainfall in Hamirpur, 72 mm in Lalitpur, 61.7 mm in Jhansi and 52 mm in Agra.

Due to continuously active monsoon, the lack of rain in the state has almost been completed. Now seasonal rainfall is only one percent less than normal.
