Latest case: On Sunday night, some known thieves committed a major theft by breaking the lock of a model shop located at Didauha intersection in the Kotwali area of ​​the city. The thieves escaped from the shop with cash worth Rs 3.51 lakh, CCTV camera DVR (hard disk) and other items. The victim has given a complaint to the Kotwali police and registered an FIR and demanded action.

According to the information received, Abhinav Pandey, resident of Sujia village of Walterganj police station area, operates a model shop at Didauha intersection of Kotwali police station area. At around 10 am on Monday morning, the landlord called and informed that the lock of the shop was broken. When Abhinav Pandey reached the spot after receiving the information, he saw that unknown thieves had broken into the shop at night by breaking the lock. According to the victim, the thieves damaged the CCTV cameras installed in the shop and also took away the DVR and hard disk with them, so that they could not be identified. Apart from this, cash amount of Rs 3,51,360 kept in the shop for two days of sales was stolen. The thieves drank two bottles of liquor kept in the shop, one completely and the other half, and left it there, which also caused additional loss.

The victim has filed a case against unknown thieves with the police and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits along with recovery of the stolen cash, DVR and other items. The police have been involved in the investigation of the case.
