It is expected to slot in below the Harrier EV in Tata’s growing electric SUV range. The SUV is likely to retain the retro-modern proportions and overall silhouette of the ICE Sierra, while the EV variant will sport a closed grille, split headlamp setup and a full-width LED light bar.

Nissan released some images of the Tecton SUV earlier this year, but the company is yet to announce its launch date. Like the new Renault Duster, the RGMP architecture-based Nissan Tecton is expected to be available with 1.0-litre turbo and 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine options. Apart from this, the Tecton can also get a hybrid engine option. Although the company is yet to announce the official launch date, the Nissan Tecton is expected to be launched by mid-2026.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Abella

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Abella, offered as a subsidiary of the Maruti Suzuki E Vitara, is likely to be launched in the Indian market soon. The specifications and details of this electric SUV have already been revealed and it has a battery pack of 49 kW and 61 kW, which claims to give a range of up to 543 km on a single charge.

Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift

Mahindra is planning to launch a mid-cycle update of the popular Mahindra Scorpio N in the Indian market. The test model of the Scorpio N facelift has been spotted several times, hinting at new features in the interior with its new front design, which replaces the old 8-inch unit with a 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital 10.25-inch display for the driver.
