2026 Yezdi Scrambler and BSA Scrambler 650 launched in India
The Mahindra-backed two-wheeler manufacturing company Classic Legends has officially launched the new Yezdi Scrambler along with the BSA Scrambler 650 in India. The Yezdi Scrambler continues in its 350cc segment with major updates and a price tag of Rs 1,99,950. Meanwhile, the all-new BSA Scrambler 650 has been introduced as a premium offering with a price tag of Rs 3,24,950.
Starting off with the Yezdi Scrambler, the company has launched this updated model in India with a starting price of Rs 1,99,950 for Legacy black color, Rs 2,05,950 for OG Yellow and Rogue Red. Lastly the Rally Blue color has been priced at Rs 2,08,950 (ex-showroom).
Both these motorcycles have now been launched in India and will rival models like the Triumph Scrambler 400 X, Royal Enfield Scram 440, and the Royal Enfield Bear 650 in their respective segments. The company has focused on improving performance, features, and overall rideability with these updates.

In terms of design, the new Yezdi Scrambler retains its core scrambler styling but now looks more refined and rugged. It continues to get a round headlamp, upright stance, wide handlebar, and a single-piece ribbed seat. The company has also made subtle changes to the body panels and graphics to give it a fresher look.

These changes include 3 new colorways in 4 colors, a signature Yezdi tank with Yezdi fuel cap, ’69 graphics on oval side panels, a front beak and shroud, along with a rear fender-mounted tail lamp with tyre hugger.
One of the biggest updates comes in the form of improved ergonomics. The motorcycle now comes with a revised rider triangle, which offers a more upright and comfortable seating position. Another key highlight is the updated hardware; the motorcycle now comes with telescopic front forks offering 150 mm of travel and twin rear shock absorbers with 5-step adjustable preload and 130 mm of travel.

This updated suspension setup will help in improving the ride quality and off-road capability. The motorcycle also gets spoked wheels with wide knobby tyres, along with a bash plate for added protection. The wheel setup includes a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear combination, which enhances its scrambler credentials.
On the braking front, the Yezdi Scrambler now gets disc brakes measuring 320 mm at the front and 240 mm at the rear, along with dual-channel ABS. Additionally, the motorcycle also offers 3 preset riding modes with traction control, which is a significant upgrade in this segment. The bike now 174 kgs which is 8 kgs less than before.

Coming to the engine, the updated Yezdi Scrambler continues to be powered by a 334cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It is now part of the next-generation “Katar” engine family. This engine features a 4-valve DOHC setup and will come paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The company claims that this new-generation engine is lighter in its category and offers improved refinement. It also gets a horizontal radiator layout and centrally routed exhaust for better thermal management, along with refined NVH levels.

As per the company, the new Katar engine has been designed to deliver a compact yet powerful performance with a high power-to-weight ratio. It will offer quick acceleration, sharp throttle response, and smooth yet punchy power delivery across the rev range. It has also been tuned for real-world riding conditions, including city traffic and varying road surfaces.

Coming to the BSA Scrambler 650, this motorcycle has been launched in India with a starting price of Rs 3,24,950 for the Raven Black color. Then there is the Victor Yellow color at Rs 3,32,950 and lastly the Thunder Grey color has been priced at Rs 3,40,950 (ex-showroom). Deliveries for this motorcycle are expected to begin soon.
The BSA Scrambler 650 is based on the BSA Gold Star 650 platform, and it comes with a strong neo-retro design language. It gets a circular LED headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, raised front fender, and a flat single-piece seat.
The motorcycle also features an upswept exhaust, which enhances its scrambler styling. At the rear, it gets a minimalistic setup with a round tail lamp and slim tail section. Other notable highlights include a ribbed single-piece seat and oval side panels with 640 Scrambler graphics.

In terms of hardware, the BSA Scrambler 650 gets 41 mm telescopic front forks and dual shock absorbers at the rear. As for the wheels, it gets wire-spoke wheels with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear setup. The braking duties will be handled by disc brakes at both ends, along with dual-channel ABS as standard. The motorcycle also gets a comfortable seat height of around 820 mm and offers a tall riding stance.
Powering the BSA Scrambler 650 is a 652cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which produces around 45 PS of power and 55 Nm of torque. This engine will come paired with a 5-speed gearbox and also gets a slipper clutch.

According to the company, it will provide strong mid-range performance and will be ideal for highway cruising as well as light off-road riding. Other notable highlights include a semi-digital instrument cluster, LED lighting, and a 12-litre fuel tank.
BSA is also offering the Scrambler 650 with a bunch of accessories. These will include an engine guard, saddle bag stays, top rack, bar-end mirrors, brace pad, and a headlight grille.
