Major General Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, has said that if America continues the blockade, the situation could turn into a major war. He claimed that in such a situation, Iran could target American bases and economic interests present in the entire region.
Razai also made very sharp remarks about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In an interview with Al-Manar, he said Iran would “send Netanyahu to hell” if tensions escalated again, according to Iranian state news agency IRIB. Describing Netanyahu's policies as a threat to Israel, he said that this has put the existence of the 'Zionist regime' in danger.
Denied conspiracy to target Trump's son
Mohsen Razai also rejected allegations that Iran was plotting to target the son of US President Donald Trump. He said that there is no such conspiracy from Iran against Trump or his family.
Razai blamed Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu for this. He said that Netanyahu has tried to intimidate Trump and influence his decisions by spreading such news.
Warning to Israel regarding Lebanon also
Iranian official also warned Israel regarding Lebanon. He said that any new action by Israel in Lebanon could have serious consequences.
According to Razai, Iran is monitoring the situation seriously and Israel will be forced to retreat from the occupied areas of Lebanon. He said that if the conflict starts again, Iran is ready for it and the next war will be different from the previous conflicts.
Iran's tough stance on American blockade
Iran is also very angry about American economic pressure and blockade. Razai said that if the blockade continues, it will be seen as a state of war.
He claimed that Iran has exported 80 million barrels of oil during the ceasefire. According to him, if America continues the economic blockade, Iran will target American economic interests in the region with full force.
Qatar's PM reached Tehran to reduce tension
Qatar has intensified diplomatic efforts amid increasing tension between Iran and America-Israel. Qatar's Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani reached Tehran and met Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian.
During the meeting, Pezeshkian said that some incidents have been unacceptable, but Iran and Qatar are friendly countries. He clarified that Iran does not want to escalate the war and supports dialogue to resolve disputes.
At the same time, the Prime Minister of Qatar said that diplomacy is the most effective way to bring back stability, security and economic peace in the region. In such a situation, Qatar's mediation efforts are being considered important in reducing tension between Iran and America-Israel.
