BJP’s answer

Meanwhile, regarding the attack on Abhishek Banerjee, West Bengal BJP President Samik Bhattacharya said, ‘BJP has no role in the incident of egg throwing and fighting. People know how TMC has run the state in the last 15 years. The police and administration should be concerned about the families affected by the post-poll violence. TMC has no moral or political right to comment on this issue. Such incidents cannot be acceptable in any civilized society. There may be resentment or complaints among people, but carrying out such incidents is not in accordance with democratic values. Our party has no connection whatsoever with these incidents.
