According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places in Odisha during August 23 to 26 and in Chhattisgarh during August 23 to 25. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of moderate to widespread rain in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh region on August 23, while in Uttarakhand between August 23 and 29. There may be good rain in eastern Uttar Pradesh during August 23 to 25, while there is a possibility of light rain at isolated places in other areas. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of thunderstorm and lightning in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh (23 August), Uttarakhand (23-29 August) and East Rajasthan (23-26 August).

Along with this, there is a possibility of strong winds at the speed of 30-60 km/hour, thunderstorm and lightning in these states, while in Bihar, there may be moderate to severe level of lightning activity on August 24.

Fair to widespread rainfall is likely over Konkan and Goa during 23-29 August and over Madhya Maharashtra on 25 August. There is a possibility of thunderstorm and lightning in Marathwada during 23-24 August, while there is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in Central Maharashtra during 23-25 August.
