Today’s weather: On one side, monsoon is coming to wreak havoc, on the other side, these 6 states will get burnt in 47 degree fire.

Strange games are being seen in the weather in the country at this time. On one hand, the Sun God is spewing fire and people are yearning for every drop of water, while on the other hand the monsoon has gained its pace. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a strong alert of heavy rain in 17 states of the country. Amidst this hide and seek of relief and disaster, there is also a possibility of winds blowing at a storm speed of 70 kilometers per hour in the next few days.

Monsoon gains momentum, heavy rain in these states

A good news for weather lovers is that the south-west monsoon is advancing rapidly. Conditions have become absolutely favorable for it to reach south-eastern Arabian Sea, Comorin area, south-west and south-east Bay of Bengal as well as remaining parts of Andaman Sea within the next 2-3 days.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to this heavy entry of monsoon, there is a possibility of continuous heavy to very heavy rains in Kerala, Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Meghalaya and many states of the North-East.

Fire will rain from the sky in these states including Delhi-UP

While Northeast and South India are going to be drenched with rain, people of North-West, Central and Eastern India will still have to endure the torture of scorching heat. IMD has warned of ‘severe heat wave’ in these areas. In Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh, the sun will be so intense that the temperature can reach 44 to 47 degrees Celsius. Going out of the house in the afternoon will be no less than a challenge.

How will the situation be in Delhi for the next 3 days?

At present, the heat in the country’s capital Delhi has made life difficult for the people. According to the Meteorological Department, the people of Delhi are not going to get any respite from this deadly heat wave till May 25. During this period, the sky will be completely clear, due to which the sunlight will scorch the body directly. However, the only thing of relief is that strong winds can blow at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour, but these winds will also feel like hot slaps. The mercury in Delhi may touch 46 degrees Celsius in the coming days.
