Tom Cruise reveals what Taylor Swift told him during Chiefs game
During a conversation with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, the host showed Cruise a photo of him and Swift speaking in the booth during the season-opening game. He asked him what they were talking about, and Cruise replied, “She was schooling me on football, for real! Like she was bringing the football… first of all, she’s a genius. I’ve been following her since she was a kid… everybody there, all their friends, they’re a beautiful couple and magical in their own right.”
The Mission: Impossible actor then mentioned that he hasn’t been to a football game since pre-COVID, as he was caught up with work. He was appreciative of being in attendance, hanging out, and having moments of fun at the game. The 64-year-old also revealed that Swift knew nothing about football when she met Kelce, but now she has a good idea about it.
Moreover, he mentioned that they conversed about music and films before praising her personality and talent. He described Swift as “funny” with a “great sense of humor,” and also called her a “brilliant writer.”
In July, Cruise also attended Swift and Kelce’s wedding, which was held in a private ceremony at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, New York City. When the clip of Swift and Cruise being spotted together at the game emerged, it received massive attention from fans, who kept guessing about what the duo was discussing. Some also speculated that they could have been discussing Swift’s next album or her appearance in a Cruise movie.
