Meanwhile, a truck coming from the front hit the loading vehicle. The collision was so strong that the vehicle loaded with laborers overturned on the road. As soon as information about the accident was received, the police reached the spot. Pedestrians and other motorists also helped in the rescue work. The people trapped in the crashed vehicle were taken out and sent to the hospital with the help of an ambulance. Many injured were brought on stretchers to the trauma center of Jai Arogya Hospital. Some had serious injuries on head and body. The team of doctors is treating all the injured. According to the police, the condition of some of the injured is critical, while the condition of many is currently stable.

Many dead are yet to be identified

Police officer Ram Mahesh Yadav said that many people have died in the accident. According to initial information, five people had died before reaching Gohad Hospital. After this, about three deaths were reported among the injured brought to Gwalior. However, the final death toll was still being confirmed. The official said that about 25 to 26 people injured in the accident have been taken to the hospital. Some people have not been identified yet and efforts are being made to contact their families.
