The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has launched an upgraded version of its MyCall mobile app. The new version of the app launched by the company will allow users to provide feedback on the quality of their voice calls and report issues like call drops, echo and audio delay. The company has currently made the new version of the app available for Android users. Through this app version, users can rate voice calls and share information about network performance. This feedback given by users will be shared directly with telecom service providers and the regulator.

MyCall app was first launched in 2017. Many new features in the new version
The new version of the app has added several new features. It allows users to rate voice calls on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. In addition, users can also report issues like call drops, echo during calls, audio delay, voice distortion, cross-connection, voice breaking, no sound on one side, and long call connection times. The feedback provided by users is shared directly with telecom operators, which enables them to take appropriate measures.
The MyCall app will now also feature automatic post-call feedback prompts. That is, you will get the option to give a rating as soon as the call is completed. Apart from this, it will also feature an interactive map, which will show the user’s past settings and feedback history. Along with this, a coverage test feature has also been provided to check the signal strength.
TRAI has claimed that the feedback shared by users will be visible anonymously to both Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) and TRAI. This will help operators to identify network issues and improve service quality. TRAI has said that the aim of this app is to help improve Quality of Service (QoS) and the overall experience and quality of the customers.
