Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has announced an agitation on October 10 demanding the resignation of Election Commission of India Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Problems may increase for CJP leaders and volunteers before they reach Delhi to join the movement. In fact, Delhi Police has started investigating the violence that took place during the Parliament march led by CJP on July 20. The police are now investigating aspects related to the incidents that occurred that day. CJP has called for an agitation on October 10 demanding the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar. Possibility of questioning the top leadership
According to sources, during the investigation, the police may interrogate CJP founder Abhijit Deepke and Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, who are in the top leadership of the organization. However, no official information has been revealed by the police regarding the inquiry. Police are investigating the incidents related to the violence during the July 20 protests and the role of the people involved in it. 17 FIRs already canceled
According to sources, the role of those responsible for the violence will be ascertained in the Crime Branch investigation. It will also be investigated whether the violence was part of a pre-planned conspiracy or the situation worsened due to infiltration of criminal elements at the protest sites. The investigation will also include incidents of alleged attacks on policemen, vandalism and damage to public property including police vehicles. Sources said that following the instructions of the Supreme Court, Delhi Police has already canceled the FIR registered in 17 cases related to the violence that took place in July. Despite this, investigation is going on regarding other aspects of the violence and the role of those responsible.
CJP's preparations intensified before Delhi demonstration
CJP is continuously protesting demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Before the proposed demonstration in Delhi, the organization had also protested in Shivaji Park in Maharashtra demanding the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar. Recently, CJP leadership had contacted the police regarding seeking permission for the demonstration in Delhi. The police said that it is necessary to take permission at least 10 days in advance for the demonstration at Jantar Mantar. After this, CJP leaders including Saurav Das, Abhijeet Deepke and Ashutosh Ranka are preparing a strategy for the proposed protest in Delhi. At the same time, CJP founder Abhijeet Deepke had claimed in a press conference that notices are being sent to the volunteers of the organization before the October 10 protest.
