According to a BBC report, Trump is appealing to Ukraine to stop attacks on Russian oil infrastructure. Kiev believes that these attacks are necessary to reduce the income of Moscow's war machine so that it can fulfill the recent agreement to supply diesel to the US and global markets.
What did Zelensky say?
Additionally, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he is ready to stop the attacks if Russia stops targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure. These attacks have intensified before winter. Zelensky said Musk and Trump are not able to stop Putin. Meanwhile, the President of Ukraine said that he does not know how to stop Putin.
When asked in an ABC News interview why he blames Elon Musk and Donald Trump for continuing the war, Zelensky said it's because they can't find a way to stop Putin. Stopping Putin is much more difficult than putting pressure on others. It is very easy to talk about prices and link them to Ukraine. He also emphasized that the increase in fuel prices worldwide is mainly due to the ongoing war in the Middle East and the Strait of Hormuz. Everyone in the world understands this. Don't play with people.
