Tvisha Sharma death case heated up in Bhopal: Important hearing today from Supreme Court to High Court, increased pressure on investigating agencies.
Bhopal. The case of suspicious death of Tvisha Sharma, daughter-in-law of former District Judge Giribala Singh, has now become a topic of discussion across the country. This case is going to take a big judicial turn on Monday, because in the next 24 hours this case is to be heard in all three places – Supreme Court, Madhya Pradesh High Court and Bhopal District Court. Amidst the continuously arising questions, now serious questions are being raised on the role of police investigation, medical report and hospital administration.
Supreme Court took suo motu cognizance-
Considering the seriousness of the matter, the Supreme Court had taken suo motu cognizance on Saturday. Today, a bench headed by Chief Justice Surya Kant will hear the institutional bias, investigation process and role of police and hospital administration in this case. It is believed that during the hearing, sharp questions may also be raised on the actions of the investigating agencies and medical procedures.
Hearing on anticipatory bail in High Court-
The anticipatory bail granted to former District Judge Giribala Singh from Bhopal Court has been challenged in the Madhya Pradesh High Court. In the petition filed by the government and Tvisha’s father, a demand has been made to cancel the bail. Hearing on this matter is also proposed on Monday.
Demand to keep call details and CCTV footage safe in the district court-
An important application related to this case will also be heard in Bhopal District Court. In the petition, a demand has been made to preserve the call details of Samarth Singh and Giribala Singh from May 12 to May 20. Along with this, an appeal has been made to the court to keep the CCTV footage of Bhopal AIIMS safe.
The dead body was found in suspicious condition on May 12.
33-year-old former model and actress Tvisha Sharma was found hanging at her in-laws’ house in Katara Hills, Bhopal on May 12. The maternal side has made serious allegations of dowry harassment and abetment to suicide, while the in-laws side said that he is suffering from drug addiction.
Following the order of Madhya Pradesh High Court, a team of four senior doctors of Delhi AIIMS reached Bhopal and conducted the second post-mortem. The process, which lasted for about three hours, was completed with scientific protocol and videography. After the post-mortem, Tvisha’s last rites were performed at Bhadbhada Vishram Ghat on Sunday evening.
Now the eyes of the entire country are fixed on the hearing of this case in three courts.
