Sant Kabir Nagar. A massive fire suddenly broke out at Pauli Bazar intersection of Dhanghata police station area in Sant Kabirnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. In this fire, two shops were completely burnt to ashes, due to which shopkeepers suffered a loss of lakhs of rupees. In the initial investigation, the cause of the fire is said to be short circuit.

Clothes and grocery shops affected
According to the people present at the spot, there was a sudden short circuit in a clothes shop located at Pauli Bazar intersection, due to which the sparks emanating took a monstrous form. The flames were so strong that they immediately engulfed the adjacent grocery shop. By the time people could do anything, both the shops started burning.
The fire was brought under control after much effort
There was an outcry in the market after seeing high flames and black smoke rising from the shops. Local traders and villagers immediately started efforts to extinguish the fire at their level. People also informed the police and fire department about this matter. As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade team reached the spot and after a lot of effort with the help of local people, the fire was brought under control. The matter of relief is that this incident was caught before it became worse at night or in a closed room, due to which preventive measures were taken in time. The victims say that they have been completely ruined as all the valuables and cash kept in the shop were burnt. The local administration has now started investigating the damage.
